June 11-16: CATS

CATS is one of the longest-running shows in West End and Broadway history. Since its premiere, it has been presented in over 30 countries, translated into 15 languages and seen by over 73 million people worldwide. And in June it's headed right here to Shanghai. The event will take place at Shanghai Culture Square on June 9 and 11-16 (times vary).

June 13: Maki Ohguro

Japanese singer and songwriter Maki Ohguro is all set to perform in Shanghai in June. Maki got her start in the music industry in 1989 as a backup singer for a whole slew of famous artists. But two years into her career, Ohguro started writing her own songs and it's all been uphill from there. You can see the pop singer in Shanghai on June 13 at Bandai Namco Shanghai Base Dream Hall

Jun 13: Fujiya & Miyagi

Brighton band Fujiya & Miyagi return to China for a tour in the immediate aftermath of the release of their new album, Flashback. With that record set to drop on May 31, fans of the band based in China can expect to hear the new tracks, as well as old favorites off of albums like Transparent Things

Jun 14: Glenn Wool: Stand Up Comedy Live In Shanghai

Renowned stand-up comedian Glenn Wool is coming to Shanghai to perform with the Shanghai Comedy Bunker at Cages Bar on June 14. Glenn began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995. He moved to London in 1998 and quickly became an established star of the London comedy circuit before becoming a globally recognized name.

Jun 14-16: Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever is a dark comedy about love, identity and the racial power dynamics that underpin them within the local and foreign populations of Shanghai. The mental state of a Chinese-American woman rapidly deteriorates as she starts to question the motivations of her white boyfriend. Meanwhile, a Chinese-American man moves to China to build up his business as a pick-up artist, only to realize that things in China are not as they are back home in America…

Jun 15: Love Bang 9-Year Anniversary:

Holy Kawaii Batman! Love Bang have put together a fantastic line-up of local DJs to celebrate their 9-year anniversary in Elevator this week. Catch the likes of Swimful, Gouachi, Hyph11e and more as they take to the stage to play for all y’all.

Chaiti Arts Festival seeks to showcase the rich musical & cultural heritage of India. For Chaiti 2019, renowned Indian Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan Ali and Ayaan Ali will all be in attendance.

With the four members collaborating on tours and music expositions in China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, Fen have managed to establish a cohesive network.
